On 1943 war events. Roosevelt, Churchill, and Stalin meet in Teheran. German 6th Army troops surrender at Stalingrad. Russian troops fight in Stalingrad streets and march German POW's to the rear. Gen. Montgomery commands troops at Tobruk. Marines advance through Guadalcanal jungles. U.S. and Canadian troops land on Kiska. U.S. Marines attack Japanese pillboxes on Tarawa with grenades and flamethrowers. Shows a Nazi rally, German troops marching, Hitler speaking, the Japanese fleet at sea, and Japanese workers in war factories. Troops advance in New Guinea jungles. Attacking Japanese planes are shot down by the U.S. fleet. Maps the prospective invasion of France and shows German fortifications. Urges support of price control and rationing and shows a panorama of military cemeteries. Personages include Adm. Halsey, Gens. Stilwell, Eisenhower, and MacArthur, and British Adm. Mountbatten.
